LocalMarketers a Bellevue,WA based early-stage startup backed by Madrona venture capitol is looking to hire Software Engineers to develop new technology which will change the world of local advertising. With the help of technology we aim to bring accountability to online advertising demanded by local business owners.
For the 1st year the positions will report directly to the VP of Engineering. Compensation will include competitive salaries + early stage stock options + 3wks paid time off + 10days of paid holidays + Medical/Dental/ Vision benefits. The company offices will be at 12951 Bel Red Rd, Bellevue, WA (current lease goes till mid-2008). The candidates will be expected to work at the company offices fulltime (i.e. no long range telecommuting). |

| Qualifications |
Below are the requirements for this position:
· Candidates should be smart, responsible, motivated, self driven and should thrive in the fast moving atmosphere of a startup
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required, Master’s preferred
· Candidates will be expected to i)research relevant technologies/solutions ii)pick up new technologies iii)spec iv)design v)code and vi)test
· Candidates should have 2-6 yrs of development experience using a modern programming language like C# or Java in the broad area of web based software development
. Experience building a web hosted product like Salesforce.com would be very valuable
· Candidates should have knowledge of and experience in many of following technologies - XML, CSS, HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Ajax, C#, Java, Perl, SQL
· Knowledge of search marketing and online advertising would be a bonus
· Candidates should have authorization to work in the US (Green card or US citizenship or approved I-140 with I485 pending for at least 6 months, for now we can't sponsor/transfer H1 or other visas)
